Do you send repairs out?

Most repairs are completed right here in our store by owner and jeweler Cindy Mikesell. If outside assistance is ever needed, we’ll discuss it with you first.

Repair times vary depending on the type of work needed. We’ll provide an estimated timeline after evaluating your jewelry in person.

Some repairs can be completed relatively quickly, while larger restoration projects often require significantly more bench time and attention to detail. Depending on the scope of work and the time of year, extensive repairs and restorations may take 2–3 months to complete. We’ll evaluate your jewelry in person and provide an estimated timeline before work begins.

In most cases, yes. We’re happy to inspect and discuss repair options for jewelry regardless of where it was originally purchased. 

For newer pieces or designer jewelry, however, we may recommend contacting the original retailer or manufacturer first. Many brands offer complimentary sizing or repairs and may require work to be completed through their authorized service centers to preserve any warranty coverage provided by the original retailer or manufacturer. If you’re unsure, bring it in—we’re always happy to inspect your jewelry and help point you in the right direction.

Yes. Independent jewelry appraiser Cynthia Shaver maintains an appraisal laboratory within our store. Appointments are scheduled directly through Cynthia. Please visit her website or contact her directly for availability and scheduling.
